Pearls for Teen girls
Overview
This project is a proposed remodel for the non-profit organization, Pearls for Teen Girls that was done for my Commercial Studio, fall semester of 2016. I collaborated with two other students to complete this project. We used Auto CAD for the detailed elevation view and Revit for the 3D renderings and floor plan.
As a group of three, we created a space that accommodated the needs for the employees and teen girls. It was an opportunity to help create a unique and comforting place for the girls, a working environment for the employees, and a way to brand the space for the non-profit organization.
The Organization
Pearls for Teen Girls is a non-profit organization that empowers girls from fifth grade to grade 12. These girls often go through traumatizing situations throughout their lives and through Pearls for Teen Girls, they are given the guidance and help that they need to succeed.

Concept
Our overall design will be relaxing and inviting for not only the employees at Pearls, but also for the girls and guests that may visit or use the space. For the employees, it is a collaborative space that still allows for private work areas. For this trauma informed care center, we have designed a sophisticated and eclectic theme with variations of vintage and feminine accents that will maximize the lighting and functionality of the space.
